Originally from Portland, Maine, Meghan's work is largely inspired by the natural beauty of the coastline. She paints primarily with encaustic wax, acrylic paint, watercolor, and incorporates sand into certain pieces of her work.
She received a bachelors in Fine Arts and Psychology and has used her therapeutic art with patients in hospitals, burn victims, various support groups, children and adults with special needs, and many others. She uses art as a healing and teaching tool not only with others, but also in her own life.
She has been represented in various galleries and shows across the united states and was chosen in 2017 through Emerald C Gallery as a local artist to design and paint the charitable pony statue at the Hotel Del Coronado in Coronado, California (benefitting Rady's Children's Hospital.)
Currently residing in San Diego, California, she spends most of her time painting, running, walking on the beach and probably overthinking most things.
